IMPORTANT - This position is a solicitation of
interest to be included in project pursuits. Employment is contingent
on contract being awarded.
This position acts as the on-site owner's
representative construction manager (CM). The owner is a Federal agency, with projects
located throughout the United States. The CM typically is the sole government
representative on the project, but some large projects may employ 2
to 3 construction managers.
Many projects are at remote locations. The CM is responsible for
inspection of the work, project documentation, processing submittals,
RFIs, RFPs, government estimates, chairing weekly meetings and
preparing meeting minutes, drafting documents and correspondence for
the owner, and reviewing and monitoring the contractor's
schedule. We anticipate
stimulus projects throughout the country in the near future, and are
seeking qualified CMs in all areas.
