Maintenance Mechanics C Shift Monday through Thursday 5:45PM to 4:15AMResponsibilities: *Assists in the installation, maintenance, repair and fabrication of plant equipment and facilities under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager and immediate work direction of Senior Maintenance Mechanic/Supervisor. * Assignments include but are not limited to building maintenance, electrical wiring, repair of conveyors, packaging equipment, hydraulics, and etc. *Performs periodic inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities in accordance with an established testing and preventative maintenance schedule and reports findings. *Works from written and oral instructions. *Trained in reading mechanical and/or electrical schematic drawings, sketches, manuals, and specifications. *Works closely with the Senior Maintenance Mechanic in understanding and following work orders. *Works independently on routine problems, small repairs, etc. *Assists Senior Maintenance Mechanic with more complex maintenance duties. *Uses hand and power tools and other equipment as necessary to complete assignment. *Follows all company safety and security procedures. *Maintains a clean and orderly work area. *High school diploma or equivalent plus vocational training in a related technical field.*A minimum of 2 to 5 years related maintenance experience is required. *Must be proficient in at least one trade. *Must have a basic knowledge of pneumatic controls, packaging equipment, conveyor belts, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance program. *Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.*Maintain a professional manner and can effectively handle all situations.*Strong communication skills*Flexibility and a positive attitude*Attention to detail*Ability to work as a team player At the TJX Companies, Inc., you'll not only enjoy working with a stable and profitable corporate leader, but you'll also enjoy the benefits that go along with it, such as Medical/Dental/Life insurance, and Associate Discounts. This position acts as the on-site owner's
representative construction manager (CM). The owner is a Federal agency, with projects
located throughout the United States. The CM typically is the sole government
representative on the project, but some large projects may employ 2
to 3 construction managers.
Many projects are at remote locations. The CM is responsible for
inspection of the work, project documentation, processing submittals,
RFIs, RFPs, government estimates, chairing weekly meetings and
preparing meeting minutes, drafting documents and correspondence for
the owner, and reviewing and monitoring the contractor's
schedule. We anticipate
stimulus projects throughout the country in the near future, and are
seeking qualified CMs in all areas.

Coaches, supports and trains mechanical workforce on non-complex, non-critical equipment.Compiles job documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training form, training certificates and punch lists.Conducts extensive self study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in companys product lines.
